Kelly Roberts – Family Law & Civil Litigation Attorney
Albemarle County native, Kelly Roberts, joined the firm in 2015. She spent the first eight years of her practice in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area practicing civil litigation, with an emphasis in family law. In times of chaos, Ms. Roberts’ sympathetic ear has brought comfort to many clients. Do not let her kind demeanor fool you – she knows when to be aggressive. Ms. Roberts’ approachable style aids in the often confusing legal maze faced by most clients.
Ms. Roberts represents clients in the areas of divorce, marriage and partnerships, custody, visitation, support, civil litigation, and traffic violations.
After graduation from Mary Baldwin College in 2003 with her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Ms. Roberts attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, receiving her Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2006. Ms. Roberts was admitted to practice in 2007 to the Virginia State Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Roberts had the honor of serving as Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia’s Tidewater Office from 2008 until 2014, when she moved back to Albemarle County with her Husband and family.
